Hon Bob Chiarelli, Ottawa West - Nepean

Father, thank you for Bob Chiarelli.   He is truly unique, and that is according to your design.   He especially excels as a builder, with the ability to take a dream and make it a reality.    Would you guide him as he serves the people of our province?   May the pathways he orchestrates ultimately lead people toward the destiny that You have in mind for them. Give him much joy as he sojourns through this day and may he know your hand upon him.

A well known figure in Ottawa, Bob Chiarelli was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario on March 4, 2010 in a byelection in the riding of Ottawa West-Nepean. MPP Hon Michael Chan, Markham - Unionville

Father, I thank you for the Hon. Michael Chan.  I thank you for his position in our government, for Your Word says that every ruling authority that exists has been established by You.  Father, I pray that You will send him laborers who are equipped with the Word of God.  I pray that these laborers will be used as vessels to communicate to his heart.  May the ears and eyes of his heart be enlarged to receive what You are saying to him in Jesus name.  I thank you that through them he will come into the knowledge and truth of who you are.  May he be a godly voice for the marginalized and impoverished.  May he be a light of righteousness to his community, holding up what is upright to You.  Father, cover Micheal with love, joy and peace that can only come from You.  Meet him where he is Lord.  Revive any lost hope in his heart in the name of Jesus.  Refresh him oh Lord.  Send Your laborers to encourage him and lift him up.  Bless him oh Lord.  Bless him oh Lord.  Touch him from the top of his head to the souls of his feet.  Bring every distorted thing into alignment.  I declare and decree that he is restored, refreshed, and encouraged.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Michael currently serves as the Minister of International Trade, leading Ontario’s first stand-alone Ministry of International Trade that reflects the province’s commitment to create jobs and growth through strong global trade partnerships.  He also serves as a member of the Priorities, Delivery and Growth Cabinet Committee, the Jobs and Economic Policy Cabinet Committee, and the Highly Skilled Workforce Ministers' Table.
Michael has also contributed as a member of the Treasury Board/Management Board of Cabinet, the Education, Skills and Economic Policy Cabinet Committee, the Economic, Environmental and Resources Policy Cabinet Committee, the Legislation and Regulations Cabinet Committee and the Cabinet Committee on Poverty Reduction.
