Lord
God, we lift up Soo Wong to You. You have known her from
the foundations of the earth and You have made her beautifully strong.
Your word says, that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and
knowledge of Him is understanding, may Soo grow in intimacy with You. May
you lift her burdens and show her that she is more than able to represent her
people well. In Jesus name.
Soo Wong was elected to represent the diverse and vibrant community of Scarborough-Agincourt on October 6, 2011. In April 2016 she was appointed by Premier Wynne as the Deputy Speaker. Currently, she serves as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services She is also a member of the Standing Committee on the Legislative Assembly.
