Join the PrayON Campaign!

In just a few weeks, Ontario will be plunged into an election campaign.  Elections are an important part of our political process. Too often, however, the church is pulled into that political process and we lose sight of our greater mandate and responsibility to stand in the gap on behalf of our land.

The challenge most often isn’t a lack of understanding about the importance of praying during this season, it’s more about knowing how to pray and what to pray, while the same time avoiding the pitfalls of partisanship.

Since 2007, Leading Influence has been providing non-partisan, non-political resources and leadership during election campaigns across Canada.  The core message in each campaign has been ‘God, give us men and women through whom You can work to accomplish Your plans and purposes for our province.’ In each province that we've led a campaign, we have seen God respond in remarkable ways.

We believe that God has a plan for Ontario and the time for that plan to be fulfilled is NOW!  Our intent is to partner with His plan by covering Ontario in prayer over the 40 days between April 29 and June 8.

Here's what the PrayON campaign looks like:
1) A daily video prayer/prayer theme for the day.
2) A daily video conference prayer time for those who would like to participate.
3) A daily prayer walking option for people who would like to pray through their streets/neighbourhoods through the use of the Adopt Your City App available for both Google and Apple devices
4) At least one regional prayer gathering on the evening of Sunday, June 3 in each of the 124 Electoral Districts in Ontario.

We know everyone is busy and this is ‘one more thing’ on your plate.  I also know that you long to see God do something sovereign and powerful within the political sphere of our nation. To that end, I’m you to join the PrayON campaign, pray along with us and encourage your network to do the same.  We can’t mobilize the church in Ontario to pray without your help and support.

Join Us!
1) Visit the PrayON website.
2) Click the 'Join the Campaign' button and enter your information.  You'll receive an 'opt-in' email asking you to confirm that you want to participate.
3) Download the Adopt Your City app for your device from your app store if you'd like to prayer walk with us, search for PrayON under Events.
4) Watch for daily updates that begin April 29!
