Hon Reza Moridi, Richmond Hill



We thank you for the many gifts you have given Reza Moridi. You have prepared him well for his role as Minister of Research, Innovation and Science.  Our prayer for him today is that You would help him excel beyond anything that he could ask, imagine or think so that Ontario would be a leader in these crucial areas.  Give him fresh insights, ideas and strategies that will propel this sector of our province to the very forefront of global leadership.  Bless his life, relationships and those who surround him.  We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

 Reza Moridi currently serves as Minister of Minister of Research, Innovation and Science.  Moridi was first elected to the Ontario legislature in 2007 as MPP for Richmond Hill. He was re-elected in 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, he was Minister of Research and Innovation, as well as Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities.

MPP Paul Miller, Hamilton East - Stoney Creek



Lord we thank you for Paul Miller and his willingness to serve the people of Hamilton East – Stoney Creek. We ask that you bless him with great wisdom as he strives to improve the lives of the people in his riding. As a Critic for Pensions and Poverty Reduction we pray that you would use him to make a meaningful impact in this vital areas. We pray a special blessing on his family as he is away from them. In Jesus name, Amen.

Paul Miller has been an MPP since 2007, focusing on pensions, economic development and the WSIB.  He has represented the United Steelworkers in Ottawa. He has served as a Stoney Creek City Councillor for 5 years and was Chair of Parks and Recreation.

MPP Norm Miller, Parry Sound - Muskoka



We ask today that you would bless Norm Miller as he serves as an MPP. We know that this job is unique in its demands and in the skill set required to meet them.  Our prayer today is that Norm would know Your help and presence in his life as he goes fulfilling the role entrusted to him.  Keep him in good health.  Watch over him as he travels.  Bless his life in every way.  Amen.

Norm Miller was first elected to represent the riding of Parry Sound-Muskoka in a by-election on March 22, 2001, and re-elected in general elections in October 2003, October 2007, October 2011 and June 2014.

Norm has served as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Northern Development and Mines, Commissioner of the Red Tape Secretariat, member of the Estimates Committee, and sat on the Cabinet Committee for Economic and Resource Policy.
While in opposition Norm has been the PC Critic for a variety of portfolios including Natural Resources, Aboriginal Affairs, Northern Development and Mines, Research and Innovation, and Finance. He also served as Chief Opposition Whip for 6 years, sat on the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs and sat on the PC Job Creation Task Force.
Most recently, he was appointed as the PC Critic for Aboriginal Affairs and re-appointed the Critic for Northern Development and Mines including Ring of Fire Issues.
For 25 years, together with his wife, Christine and their four children, owned and operated a lodge on Lake Muskoka.
