MPP Jagmeet Singh, Bramalea-Gore-Malton

Father in heaven we pray for Member Jagmeet Singh. We  pray  that as he serves as deputy leader and has all the added responsibilities, pressures and challenges that you Lord would give him all that he needs to serve in the Ontario government today.   Father we ask that you would help him, bless him as he works hard for his party and deals with all the issues that face his constituents in his riding.  Give him the wisdom and knowledge that he needs to serve  the hard working citizens. Father we pray that you would help him make decisions and choices for the people of Ontario.   Father we pray for health and strength for him, his team and staff, we especially pray for his family, bless and keep them safe, may they all know and feel Your presence.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen

MPP Jagmeet Singh was elected in the riding of Bramalea-Gore-Malton in the 2011 provincial election. Prior to joining public office, he was a defence lawyer practising in the region of Peel. He has always been a strong voice for vulnerable people and vocal on a number of human rights issues.

As an MPP, Jagmeet has championed the demand for a province-wide reduction of auto insurance rates and pushed for greater awareness of the precarious employment created by temporary job agencies.

Jagmeet holds a B.Sc. in biology from the University of Western Ontario and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School. He is fluent in English, French, and Punjabi.
