Lord we pray for Daiene and her husband John. We thank you for a leader with heart and vision for serving Kitchener Centre. Thank you for her communicative abilities, resourcefulness and dedication to serve as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Research and Innovation. God, thank you for her compassion for the underprivileged and marginalized, her attentiveness to needs of justice, her political insight and responsiveness to the public. Bless her fully and guide her as she leads our people. In Jesus name, amen.
With husband John, she spent three decades in Kitchener and welcomed firstborn Andrew while refurbishing a century old home in the downtown. The household grew to include Curtis and Claire in the Forest Hill neighbourhood. Today, with the family grown, Daiene is re-dedicating her energy to helping people across the community through this form of public service.
