MPP - Monique Taylor - Hamilton Mountain

Heavenly Father, I bring MPP Monique Taylor to You care today.  As she labors in the present parliament, I would ask that You give her the wisdom, grace and knowledge that she needs, especially as she deals with those with disabilities and for Children and Youth Services.  I ask that Your mercy would be her portion, and that You would give her the ability to understand and bless those whom she represents and serves.  May her family be blessed this day by Your Hand.  Amen.

Monique Taylor is a community advocate who has been MPP for Hamilton Mountain since 2011.
A graduate of the Toronto School of Business, an experienced hospitality worker, a key player in the campaign to save the McMaster Emergency Room, and an Assistant to Councillor Scott Duvall, Monique knows the everyday struggles of the people of Hamilton firsthand.
Putting her experience to good use, Monique works tirelessly on behalf of Mountain residents to get results when dealing with government departments. Her experience also serves her well as a community bridge-builder.
As MPP, Monique has worked hard on issues related to children and youth. In 2012, she introduced Bill 42, designed to give full investigative power to the provincial Ombudsman in relation to decisions made by children’s aid societies.
As a Member of the Select Committee on Developmental Services, Monique has been a strong advocate on behalf of families facing the extreme challenges of members living with serious developmental disabilities.
Monique Taylor is a fighter Hamilton can count on to make life fairer and get results.
