Peter Tabuns is a distinguished community leader and a dedicated environmentalist.
A Toronto City Councillor from 1990 to 1997, he helped keep valuable services public and championed smoke-free restaurants and bars. As Executive Director of Greenpeace, he strongly advocated for increased environmental protections and for the adoption of the Kyoto Protocol.

As the Ontario NDP’s critic for energy and education, he has led the charge towards creating a new energy economy and has fought against skyrocketing hydro rates.
You can count on Peter Tabuns, an experienced advocate for his community, to continue to get results for the people of Toronto-Danforth.
